Michael Page specialises in contract law, property law, and wills - concentrating on the needs of company executives and private individuals seeking value and personal service from a lawyer with experience in a large firm but without the significant overheads.

Michael was a partner in the Commercial Property Group/Private Client Service Group, in the Sydney office of Freehill Hollingdale & Page, one of the largest law firms in Australia.

Michael left Freehills in 1997 to establish his own firm, Page Partners and specifically to practise law in his areas of interest and passion- property/real estate.

Michael has extensive experience with residential and investment property transactions, including rural properties and off-the-plan units.

Achievements
Michael acted on some of the largest commercial office leases in Sydney, and for Lend Lease on projects such as the MLC Centre, Australia Square, Darling Park Tower, and the Riverside Centre, Brisbane.
Michael has spoken at conferences and seminars on issues such as Commercial Leasing Practice, the NSW Retail Leases Act, 1994, misleading and deceptive conduct in leasing transactions, the impact of the Trade Practices Act and rent reviews and valuation.
He re-wrote a former edition of the BOMA (now the Property Council of Australia) standard industrial lease.

He is a Fellow of the Taxation Institute of Australia and a Life Member of the Stanford University Business School Alumni Association.

Qualifications
Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Sydney and is admitted to practice in NSW, the ACT, Victoria, Western Australia and Queensland.  He is also a Notary Public.



Tony Scott - Consultant
Senior Solicitor

Tony Scott holds Bachelor and Master of Laws Degrees from Sydney University. He worked for 16 years in a private commercial law practice as an in-house corporate lawyer for Mining companies.

He lectures to post graduate students at the College of Law.

His specialty is mining law, but he has wide commercial and general law experience, specifically in Joint Venture Agreements; coal industry matters; coal sales contracts; corporate and commercial law; Property Law; Commercial Litigation; and Revenue Law.

1985 - Master of Laws (LL.M) (majored in company law, taxation law, trade practices law and consumer law) at University of Sydney
1984 - Completed Mining Law course at University of New South Wales
1962 - Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) at University of Sydney
